
I’ve become a juicer.
Yes, one of those crazy, mix-a-bunch-of-fruit-together and eat-it-as-a-meal juicers.
(But I didn’t buy a juicer to go with my never ending list of small kitchen appliances, I’m using my Blendtec – so I guess it would be a smoothie.)
But smoothie-ing on-the-go is hard. And so is eating healthy on the go.
Again, that’s why I’m thankful for modern technology, and companies like Odwalla.
In addition to having products I feel good about eating, they also love the land. Since Since 2008, Odwalla has donated $550,000 worth of trees through its Plant-A-Tree initiative. Try to eat more fruits and vegetables every day and drink plenty of water
I’m thinking of food as fuel (I’m hoping to run a marathon this year) which has definitely changed the way I eat. I don’t want to eat too many things that aren’t helping me achieve my goal.

We just finished planting an enormous garden. We are eating healthier by growing our own food.
I decided that my kids who love McDonalds will only get it once a month.
And those same kids are a bit picky… so we make a whatever is in the fridge smoothie at least 3 times per week. Avocados are a great addition, with no strong flavor. Plus if the smoothie is a bit not up to par for picky eaters, I add a little sugar free jello to add some flavor.
I go for a walk every day.

As of last month, I’ve been eating at least 1 salad a day. I’ve been reading a lot about juicing, but didn’t want to go out and buy a juicer. Maybe I’ll try out your idea and make smoothies instead 🙂

I am definitely trying to slim down! My major thing to eat healthier is watch what I eat! I’ve been eating more salads, eating in smaller portions, drinking more water,no soda. I also have cut out bread!
