I’ll admit it took me a LONG time to find a organization system that worked for my finances. I’ve done spreadsheets, QuickBooks, notebooks, etc. and it wasn’t until I stumbled on to Mint.com that everything seemed to click and fall into place.
Mint.com is a FREE online service that can help create a budget, track spending (via credit cards, debit cards or cash), save money, and make bank accounts a LOT easier to manage. And it is secure – over a million people use mint.com and it has been listed by several organization and financial sites as a great tool.
I love it because it is a visual medium. It is nice to see pretty graphs of my spending and be able to compare them to the average and to other areas of my spending.
It also helps keep me on track. It is easy to just “not” pull money into savings, but mint.com is my constant reminder to keep things on track. We work hard to save money through our strategic shopping – it’s nice to see how that is affecting our finances.
Check out Mint.com. It is FREE, secure and a great resource for getting your finances organized.
