Have you found a product that is every bit as good as the more expensive options?  I thought it might be fun to share those best kept deal secrets with each other.  So, what are you waiting for?  Share!!!

Here’s a few of mine…

1.  Mainstay TRUE COLORS Towels at Wal-Mart – everyday low price of $5.00 for bath towels (yes, you read it right, BATH towels).    I have to admit I am a bath towel snob. Before finding these towels, I only purchased Laura Ashley or Ralph Lauren towels.  I figured we used them everyday, it’s something I could justify splurging on UNTIL I bought the Mainstay towels one day.  Wow!  I even asked my guests at Christmas to give me their honest feedback and they said they thought they were a great towel! 

2. Danskin Shoes at Wal-Mart – My oldest daughter has a narrow foot and a lot of shoes just don’t fit right.  So, when we found the Saucony brand I decided they were worth the extra money so that she could have shoes that fit properly.  Well, then one day I brought home the Danskin brand at half the sale cost of Saucony and they were a great fit as well!  My daughter wears tennis shoes every day to school and these have really worn well for over two months now.  So far, so good.

3. Sonoma Pima Cotton Tees – I have always purchased Eddie Bauer t-shirts.  They just fit well, don’t shrink or lose their color, and have a nice selection of colors.  Again, that is until I found a better alternative.  The Sonoma brand pima cotton tees at Kohls can be purchased for as little as $4.99 on sale as compared to the EB tees for $17.50 each.  I have yet to find a difference between the two except the price.
