In our house, we pack a lunch almost every day.
While I could go into the ins-and-outs of why I put my child through the SUPER HARD TASK of packing her lunch (oh, wait. that is just what she says to me every morning), it comes down to one thing…controlling what foods go into her little body.
While we still follow the rules from Master Making Lunches To Take To School, we also constantly look for easy-to-pack alternatives to sandwiches.
(because goodness knows, you can only eat a nut butter and jelly sandwich for SO long…)

Why I love this lunch idea…
It’s organic. It’s vegetarian. And it’s super filling. Plus, this is truly one of the easiest lunches to put together. Outside of putting the hummus into a container with a spoon, it was literally grab and go.

Why I love this lunch idea…
Sometimes you have a kiddo that NEEDS protein. Lots of protein. This lunch fits this need. Cut your string cheese into thirds and wrap with one to two pieces of lunchmeat.
