Contest Closed. Congrats to Hannah ([email protected]).
As we start February, I always find my resolve for my “New Year’s Resolutions” to be waning.
And I know for many of you, you resolved to eat healthy AND to have better meal plans.
So I have two cookbook giveaways today to help you get inspired to create healthy meals.
Clean Food: A Season Guide to Eating Close to the Source by Terry Walters is a cookbook that offers a guide and recipes to fresh and seasonal fare. The cookbook features not only regular recipes, but gluten-free (and a whole chapter to healthy snacking).
I enjoyed this cookbook because while it was a clean-eating cookbook, all of the ingredients for the recipes were easy to find (aka at your local grocery store) and were cost-effective. While I doubt that I will use this cookbook for every single meal that I make, it does help give me inspiration to bringing in more “clean and healthy dishes” into my meal plan.
And now it is your turn…one lucky Kansas City Mamas reader will win a copy of Clean Food: A Season Guide to Eating Close to the Source by Terry Walters.
Here’s How To Enter The Giveaway
(Remember, each comment is considered a entry – so leave a separate comment each time.)
Leave me a comment and tell me what part of your meal plan do you need to work on. (Ex. Finding Kid Friendly Yet Healthy Food.)
Additional entry: Become a email subscriber to Kansas City Mamas. (I promise, I won’t spam you.) And then leave a comment and let me know.
Additional entry: Become in Like with Kansas City Mamas on Facebook. (We have fun, I promise.) And then leave a comment and let me know.
Contest will be open till end of day on February 13, 2013. Winner will be notified by email and has 48-hours to respond before another winner is chosen. Winner must reside in the lower 48-states of the continental USA. Good Luck.
Disclosure: Sterling Publishing provided the giveaway prize, but I was not compensated in any other way. The written remarks are entirely my own. Want more information – check out my full disclosure statement.

trying to get better at remembering to plan in the first place!
The part of our meal plan that I need to work on is side-dishes that will satisfy the two vegans and one flexitarian that comprises our family. Need more dishes that I can serve at the same meal for both types of “eaters”.
We are just starting to meal plan but I know we need to plan more veggie filled meals!
