I’ve talked about why I’m in love with the new Fuel Rewards Network Card and how it can save Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card Holders an extra $.03 off each gallon of gas.

If you shop at Hy-Vee AND take advantage of their Fuel Saver Rewards Card, you NEED to sign up for the FREE Fuel Rewards Network Card from Shell. In addition to all of the Fuel Saver Rewards you earn at Hy-Vee for buying specific items, you will also get an additional $.03 off per gallon.

Because PEEPS, we save on the things we need, so we can afford the things we want.

Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up for the FREE Fuel Rewards Network Card.

2. Add your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card information (you can either do it at signup OR under “Account Profile” and then “My Cards”.)

3. Now, when you swipe your Fuel Rewards Network Card you will automatically get a $.03 per gallon DISCOUNT at all SHELL locations for doing nothing more than scanning your card.

4. Earn even more credits if you add your Mastercard Credit Card under “My Cards” on the Fuel Rewards Network website. If you do, you’ll earn an additional 3¢/gal credit for every $100 you spend on groceries with that Mastercard. If you don’t feel comfortable, no worries, this is optional.

5. Shop like you normally do at Hy-Vee. The gas credits you normally receive for buying specific items will also be placed on both your Fuel Rewards Network Cards AND your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card.

6. To redeem your rewards, insert your Fuel Rewards Network Card or Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card at the pump before you pay – and watch the retail price drop based on the rewards you’ve earned. Because of this new partnership with the Shell Fuel Rewards Network, you are able to apply your gas credits at Hy-Vee Gas, Casey’s and any Shell Station.

7. Get crazy! Go to “Account Profile” and then “Account Information” and get your “Referral Link”. For every person who signs up under you link, you’ll earn an extra $.05 per gallon of gas.

    Yes I have been using the HyVee Fuel Rewards for about one year and love the discount on gas!!

    I use my Fuel Saver card at the HyVee filling station on 119th St west of I-35. That is one of the few stations around that have alcohol-free gasoline for sale. That will become more important for cars older than 2001 and all existing lawn mowers when the alcohol mixture in gasoline increases from 10% to 15%.

    I don’t use fuel rewards because I only shop at Hy-vee for very specific (read:few) items. Not enough for the hassle – even to save a few cents. 😉 Thanks for the giveaway!
