One of the biggest misconceptions among my friends who do not coupon is that in order to save money, she has to purchase the off-brand.
Lucky for my readers you know there is a better way.
Couponing actually makes it possible to have the name brands around your house – in greater abundance than you ever imagined. And, sometimes having the better brand makes your things last longer. This is totally the case when it comes to fabric care, am I right?
Family Dollar and P&G have teamed up to introduce a great new line of products to treat stains, make clothes fresh, and clean them better than ever before. When my son started Kindergarten he came home EVERY day with black stains all over his pants. Shredded tires on the playground made for a laundry nightmare. I would have loved the new Tide Ultra Stain Release, which contains a special stain removing ingredient and a pre-treater. When my washing machine is running non-stop as it has been during the winter snow days, I try to run cold water cycles, and can do that with Tide Coldwater with special whitening ingredients.
Family Dollar is a great place to buy P&G Laundry Care Products like Gain, Downy & Tide. You can use your Sunday P&G Insert and can even get extra savings with IBOTTA. And don’t forget to check out the beauty products too, you can score a great P&G product rebate.
One lucky winner will score a P&G Fabric Care Prize Pack and a $25 Family Dollar gift card so you can sample all the great products. The prize pack will include:
· $25 Family Dollar Gift Card
· Downy Unstoppables
· Gain Flings
· Samples from the Tide Plus Collection

The only trick I use to make sure certain items are clean is to wash whites and towels, no matter the color, in hot water. I believe it kills germs/bacteria that can be on those personal items.

I mix 20 Mule Team Borax, Arm & Hammer Washing Soda, and Biz into a coffee can. All you have to use is a scoop or two with any wash.
It not only softens the water to clean better and softens all materials but it is amazing on any stain and best of all: the clothes smell and feel outdoor fresh!

My trick is to hang black clothes and this way they won’t fade anywhere as quickly. And always spot treat a stain immediately.

Air dry clothes and if you get a blood stain, rinse it immediately in cold water and then wash afterwards.
