We are a breakfast family. At any given time, you’ll find at least 20 different cereals in our pantry. The kids know the system: three cereals are open at any one time, and when one is gone we get to open a new cereal. It’s an awesome system. I save more, spend less, and everyone gets what they like.

Or, it’s a great system when you buy great cereal. But, we’ve all made that one mistake. You know, that time you bought the nasty brand because you had a ton of coupons. You half-hoped somebody would eat  it, and nobody did. So your cereal sat in it’s box, FOREVER. And then Dad finally came along and finished the box out of mercy and made you PROMISE to never buy it again.

    We eat malt-o-meal on a regular basis. My favorite is their version of Cap’n Crunch. I also like the Cinnamon Toast variety, which is every bit as good as their more famous counterpart, at half the price. In my area(in Lincoln), you can buy huge 35oz boxes that are the best deal.

    We love Malt O meal cereals at our house! In fact I even ate them when I was a kid. Love that the bag is Atleast twice the size of regular boxes and they do taste great!

    Oh, also……YES! I had some coupons for Malt-o-Meal cereals awhile back and they were gone like *that*. Most of them are really really good. I don’t know if its just cold cereals but I also love their hot cereals, I was practically raised on the hot cereals.
