CVS Minute Clinic Back To School Resources
We will go back to school in three short weeks. That means in 21 days our family needs to get school supplies, new clothes, create lunch menus, and in some cases, a trip to the doctor for a physical or immunizations.
And when you are trying to get everything done on your to-do list (with kids in tow), sometimes convenience and speed are the most important factors.
Enter CVS’s Minute Clinic.
CVS’s MinuteClinic offers a variety of back-to-school vaccinations so that your kids don’t miss their first day (because many schools require immunizations before they start). It is important to know your state’s requirements for vaccinations such as meningitis and pertussis.
CVS’s MinuteClinic also offers pre-participation sports physicals for just $39 (that’s $20 off!). (We used this service this year for my son’s physical for Boy Scout Camp. So quick and easy.)
Kids leaving home for college? Make sure they start off on the right foot with our college physicals.
And finally, when you use CVS’s MinuteClinic, you will receive a FREE $22 coupon book from Johnson & Johnson.
And if you are on Twitter, be sure to jump on Monday, July 28 at Noon CST for a CVS Minute Clinic #GoBack Healthy Twitter Party. If you haven’t been on Twitter Party before, they are a ton of fun and usually have a ton of prizes given away too. You can RSVP for the Twitter Party HERE.
On a personal note, the Snyder’s are big fans of the Minute Clinic. Since we are both self-employed, we pay for our insurance outright and have a high deductible plan that covers “catastrophe” type events, but otherwise we pay for everything out-of-pocket. The Minute Clinic allows us to see a nurse practitioner for routine issues like coughs and colds AND is cheaper than going to our normal doctor’s office. We’ve never had a bad experience and they have even followed up on us to see if my kids were doing better. Love that.
So as you are putting together your to-do list for back to school, remember CVS Minute Clinic Back To School Resources and help your kiddos #gobackhealthy to school.
