Every day heroes are special.
They do small things.
Small things that may go unnoticed to everyone, but mean something amazing to someone.
As I get older, I realize that it isn’t the amazing heroes I’m in awe with. It is the everyday heroes. The ones who coach soccer, bring treats to boy scouts, pick up extra kids and take them to the pool, tell a child they did a great job, mow someone else’s lawn, or bake cookies and share the wealth.
In celebration of our nation’s brave soldiers who have returned from service and are making a difference in their communities, Procter & Gamble® has teamed up with Dollar General to honor our military as Every Day Heroes in June. Just as our military families have made a commitment to our country, Dollar General is committed to delivering valuable savings on America’s favorite brands every day. (Be sure to look this Sunday for your P&G Brandsaver – I imagine it will be a tear jerker.)
Because truly, those are the everyday heroes. Men and women whose names we will never know, but did amazing things that mean something to everyone.
And they are awarding one KC Reader a P&G & Dollar General Prize Pack that includes:
- Gain Fireworks- In-Wash Scent Booster for your Laundry
- Gain Bar – Dryer Bar Lasts up to 3 Months
- Febreze Car Clip – Eliminates Odors and Releases a Fresh Scent
- $10 Dollar General Gift Card

My everyday hero is every mother or father that day after day wear many hats in their families. They are parents, friends , sisters, brothers, children, role models, community leader, and many other things. They hear very few thank yous but they never look for affirmation for their duties.
My everyday hero is my angel child. We lost our daughter at 21 wks gestation, if it wasnt for her i would not have our adopted daughter and our 2nd biological child. When losing her we found out i had an incompetent cervix, blood clotting disorder, and an irritable uterus, which knowing these made it possible for us to make it to 37 wks 0 days! i already like you on FB and email!
