If you have been wanting to find a “substitute” for the salon gel manicure – Sally Hansen has an affordable option.
They launched the at-home Sally Hansen Gel Starter Set and Sally Hansen Insta-Gel Strips around six months ago.
There are several Sally Hansen Insta-Gel Strips Coupons available to help you get it for less (and there often is an ECB deals at CVS as well).
- $5/1 Sally Hansen Salon Insta-Gel Strips
- $5/1 Sally Hansen Salon Insta-Gel Strips Starter Kit or Salon Gel Polish Starter Kit
- $3/1 Sally Hansen Special Effects Nail Color
- $3/1 Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips
The Insta-Gel Starter Set is $29.99 and the Insta-Gel Strips are $11.99 (retail).
I was able to review the product (thank you CVS) and found that it does a pretty good job for an at-home manicure. Once you get the strips on and “bake” them, it truly is immediately touch-free . I wouldn’t say it is “as good” as a professional salon gel manicure. But for something you can do at home in less than 30 minutes…it does the job.
The starter kit comes with one set of insta-gel strips and it should be good for three manicures.
I talked more about the product on a recent KC Live television appearance – you can see my review of Sally Hansen Salon Insta-Gel Strips.
