There was a special buy at Aldi for the month of January.

They released a large selection of Aldi Simply Nature Organic Products. Yes…Organic and Aldi….at the same store.

This is a special buy which means that it was a limited amount stock.

Which is good news and bad news. Bad news is that it may be gone if you go this week. Good news is that if it sells well, there is the potential for those items to be brought back on a permanent basis.

And they always have Fit & Active Items available 365 days of the year.

And since I know that KCM readers are fans of ALDI and Organic…I thought we should celebrate and give away $25 ALDI Gift Certificates to two lucky winners.

    We LOVE Aldi and do most of our grocery shopping there (with maybe a monthly trip to Meijer or somewhere for the few things Aldi does not sell like whole wheat flour). I love their sales on produce, the milk prices are great and they even have lactose free milk for hubby and almond milk which is awesome, I love their specialty cheeses, the organic plum/pomegranate juice in this new line was really good (and not a bad price either!). There’s actually very little that I DON’T like at Aldi! By the way, sometimes people are surprised to know that Aldi is owned by the same company that owns Trader Joe’s. So it’s not that surprising that they would come out with an organic line at Aldi, I just hope it sells well so it comes back!

    The new Simply Nature Chipotle Black Bean soup is delish!!!!!! I also love .19 avocados! Aldi’s is the best! I liked you on FB and subscribed!

    I like the prices on sugar, meat sticks, fruit roll ups, produce, meats and cheeses. Wine, olives, rice cakes, corn tortillas, canned fruit, lacura skin care, bleach, saran wrap, canned ham, frozen fruit, chopped garlic, powdered milk, chocolates and gummi candies, frozen cornish hens, shrimp, grape juice concentrate, dish soap, jelly, and frozen turkey. I buy lots of stuff there. It is all in one place. I have a hard time moving and walking around a big store is somedays too much. Aldi’s is good for me because I can get almost everything in one place. I also use cloth grocery bags there. They have good good black and green olives.

    I love Aldi’s marzipan stollen. (I wish it was available all year, instead of just at Christmas!) Their candy bars are also yummy.

    My favorite item at Aldi is currently their organic apple juice…I have a baby and I usually buy it for about $5.00 a bottle. Its half that at Aldi! I hope they make some of their organic products permanent. I bought 6 bottles of apple juice, 4 boxes of organic o cereal and 3 packages of organic cheese sticks just in case they go away.

    I love Aldi diapers!! They’ve even got Costco regular prices beat and when we compared them to a package of Target diapers, we were surprised to find the Target ones leaked and tabs ripped more than the Aldi ones. We also love their jarred queso dip and cheese curls.

    I love Aldi for their dry goods – crackers, snacks, baking supplies, etc. We moved from MN where Aldi’s had AMAZING produce selection, but here in KC I have found nothing but moldy, picked over selections. Kind of a big bummer.

    Wow – that’s hard – I love so many of there products – Olive Oil, Traditional Spag. Sauce, Heavy Whipping cream, parm. cheese, large thin crust pizzas, fruit and veggies (best price in KC each week – like avacados, pineapples, tomatoes). Ok I said it was hard! I also love that most of Aldi products have less processed things in them. Can’t wait till we get the organic line – the East Coast is loving them!

    Luv luv luv Aldi. We shop there every week. We love the prices and i personally love the puffed corn and of course at christmas time their european sweets. With their prices and quality in this economy it’s smart to shop Aldi!!

    Huge ALDI fan! I don’t think the Tamales sold out of the minivan on Thursdays in the Aldi on Roe’s parking lot count so…..

    I’d have to say produce. I know I eat a lot more fresh fruits and veggies because of Aldi’s awesome prices.

    I love the Aldi’s version of laughing cow cheese they have a great assortment of flavors and is less than half the price at a regular grocery store… And I bought the organic frozen strawberrys a couple of weeks ago and they are so good in my breakfast smoothie 🙂

    I have to admit I’ve never steeped inside an Aldi’s. I’ve been playing around with the idea for a while now, but haven’t gotten up the motivation. I have a couple of friends who swear by them, but I’m kind of a rut-rider, so to speak, when it comes to shopping for groceries. So…a favorite is not something I can give you. I’m still entering on the off chance that I’ll win that added motivation I’ve been lacking to try something I want to try but can’t bring myself to brave.
