Has the price of cable got you down?
Think about Netflix.
We have the $7.99 streaming plan and LOVE it. You can watch unlimited TV episodes and movies over the internet. Plus your one account is good for all of your devices – so we have Netflix loaded on all our TVs, tablets, and phones.
My kids can always find some new animated series they would like to watch or movies like Toy Story, Tangled or Snow Buddies.
And Hubs and I LOVE watching documentaries like Waiting For Superman, Buck, and more.
Plus, it has all of my other favorite AMC shoes like Breaking Bad and Mad Men.
If you have been thinking about breaking away from cable, sign up for a one-month Netflix’s Trial Offer and see how you do.
Netflix runs on select Blu-ray players, HD LCD TVs, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, iPhones, Laptops, select Smartphones, Tablets, iPads, and Roku Machines.

I’m glad you’ve had good successed with the streaming, but for over a year I constantly ran into problems and I had HARD-WIRED my connections! Whatever I was watching would often simply freeze. I tried the usual debugging route but it was a horrible chain of Sony (Blu-ray player) – Netflix – Roadrunner (IP) – repeat endlessly. I had spent hundreds to get this setup and I finally had enough of it a few weeks ago, so I dismantled the network wiring, got rid of the instant streaming and went back to 2 Blu-ray DVDS at-a-time. I’ll never again try it.

I am planning to abandon cable and go for this as well when our contract with a local KC area cable company is up. I am hoping to run it through our Wii.
Any suggestions for internet provider? I am fed up with our current bundled service. Although the cable part is fine, the internet is always going out. We have to go unplug the modem, and/or the other box (sorry, forget what it is called) or call for online tech help. Internet will just stop working at random times. So frustrating. We have had this issue since we switched to this company last March. Anyone have any luck with Netflix and an alternate way to use internet?
