Michelle – do you have any Pampered Chef Stoneware? You treat it the same way you treat that. Water only. Nylon scraper. Don’t try to strip all the grease out (pretend it is a natural covering…LOL).
yes I do have the stoneware. I remember being shocked as a kid when a friend’s mom told me she never washes her (iron) skillets ! its a different method for sure- the heat kills the germs, like on the grill. and you don’t ever want to soak them if I remember correctly. Can’t wait to get these, I have a smooth top but my friend has used hers on one for years and says she’s just careful to not slide it around on the stove top.
