One of the questions I receive most often is…”Is it worth it to print coupons?”
My answer, “Yes. But it is a LOT more cost effective with a laser printer.”
Enter today’s deal from Office Depot a Brother HL-2240 Monochrome Laser Printer for $40.98 – Shipped To Store.
Here’s how:
- Add the Brother HL-2240 Monochrome Laser Printer to your cart. ($119 – $70 instant savings = $49.99)

- Choose “in-store” pickup to avoid shipping charges.
Update: Looks like I was mistaken about wireless.
However, you will never regret purchasing a laser printer. We’ve had our for over five years and have to replace cartridges once a year.
Do you print a lot of coupons? How much do cartridges cost? Thanks!
A lot. There are many times I print a coupon before I post it to make sure it is legit.
amazing deal. I bought a Brother, a larger model for about 150 last year because we homeschool and print a lot. It saves a fortune on ink. Great deal !
the toner cartridge you get appears to be a starter cartridge and won’t give a true representation of how long a toner cartridge will last. when you get a regular one in there it will last a long time, I have never changed ours in about a year and a half.
Michelle – Thanks for the information. Great information to pass along.
I just finished checking out. This will be my first laser printer! let’s hope i can get it to work!!! thanks for the deal info! i’ve been looking for one of these!
is this on sale for the week or just today? would like to wait until friday to purchase, but don’t want to miss out!!
I’m not sure. I would also be worried about it not being in stock – because this is a hot deal.
Thanks for posting this great deal. Ive always wanted to get a more cost effective printer. Do you know how much the ink cartridges cost?
I believe the cartridge is 30.99 on Amazon and is rated for 1200 copies
:-)))

I have asked office depot and they have told me that it is NOT a wireless printer.
Kacy – yes, I just realized this and adjusted the post. However, our printer is not a “wireless” printer either, but if you have a home network you should be able to run it through a desktop and have no problems.
