The ever popular K-Mart Doubles Event starts this Sunday. Here are some key-insights (as well as my own 2-cents) you’ll want to be aware of before you start toward the store.

1. Manufacturer Coupons (including printables) up to and including $2 value will be doubled.

2. Kmart Doubles Event runs from April 4 – 10.

3. You must present your Shop Your Way Rewards card to participate in this promotion – you can sign-up and print a temporary card here.

4. Kmart Store Coupons will not double.

5. Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons will not double.

6. Only the first 5 coupons per customer per day will be doubled.

7. You can only use 1 like coupon per transaction. Meaning – you can only use (1) $2/1 Soft Scrub coupon per day.

My 2-Cents: In the past I have been a fan (addict) of Kmart Doubles Events. I’ve been able to score a TON of either FREE or almost FREE items, but this year I think I’m going to pass because of the new restrictions. For most of us, shopping at Kmart would be a special trip. I think you have to weigh how far it is to drive to the nearest Kmart (which in my case is 15 minutes) with how much you can save – which is at the most $10 per day. I may pay a little more at Walmart or Target for the same items, but since those stores are part of my routine, I won’t have to pay for my time. Yep, couponistas, our time is worth something.
 
With that being said, there will still be TONs of FREEbies for the taking. So for those going to Kmart Doubles – good luck and I hope you are able to fill your stockpile with all sorts of FREEbies. May the CouponForce be with You. 🙂
