It has been brought to my attention that the All You Magazine Deal I posted earlier today has the textbook look of bait and switch.
When I originally posted the deal, I looked under www.bluedolphin-magazines.com and found that All You was listed.
However, if you bought this Groupon, when you receive your voucher from Blue Dolphin you have to use this link: www.bluedolphin.com/Groupon to purchase and you will NOT see All You listed as an available magazine.
As a former grad of J-School Advertising, this is classic Bait-And-Switch and unethical.
If you purchased this deal thinking you could get All You Magazine, let Groupon know and ask for your money back. (They offer 100% money-back guarantee.)
And I personally apologize. I try to vet the deals before I post them and for all purposes it looked like you could order All You Magazine. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this will cause.
Its interesting, but a while ago they offered the same deal only ALL You was included. I placed that in October, and now in Feb. I received my first issue. It took a LOT of contact through blue dolphin and basically threats to get them to do anything.
Let’s just say that I will never post any deal again that has to do with Blue Dolphin. This is the second time this has happened (once with Eversave last summer). Shady companies will get no time on my site.
