Ali has talked about “The Coupon Mom’s Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half” as one of her “must reads” for this year. For me, Stephanie Nelson’s CouponMom site and forum were the KEY reasons I started couponing. In the beginning, her free ebooks were like manna from heaven – they explained the whole couponing process so straight-forward that it was easy to succeed almost right away. When I received her new book, I was a little hesitant because I thought “How much can I really learn from her book? Will any of it be different than her free ebooks?” The answer – A TON and A LOT. Stephanie has done a wonderful job of using her straight-forward approach to not only answer rookie questions, but expert questions as well including great sections on organics (with a list of organic companies), wholesale clubs, saving on meat and dairy, and how to live well through your dining room.
If you are looking for a beginners book on couponing or to take your couponing/strategic shopping game up a notch – “The Coupon Mom’s Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half” is the book. And for only $9 at Amazon – you’ll probably save that much your first shopping trip.
PS: On a self-serving note: if you have the book check out pages 25 and 124 for a couple of quotes from one of your Kansas City Mamas.
