As you know, this week Plum District launched in Kansas City.

While we have always been able to access the online deals for Plum District, but now there will be deals that are Kansas City specific.

    I LOVE KC…because there is always something to do. …because the holidays are fun-filled. …because there are several local activities that involve our young children. …because the weather is so EXCITING! …because it’s my home!

    I love KC b/c it has all of the fun “big city” things without feeling like a really big city ~ the traffic isn’t terrible, easy to get around, friendly people etc.

    I love Kansas City because it is my home, I see the beauty even in the areas that are run down. I love the people here because, generally speaking, they are kind and helpful. I love the parks, I love KALEIDOSCOPE, and I love the history and culture. I love that (most years) we get to experience the best of all 4 seasons. Also, my family is here. There is no place better than KC

    I do not know if this is the place to post this…..BUT…A long, long time ago, you made a post about having holiday parties. And you talked about using paper plates because nobody is going to make a thing about paper plates. Soooooo, at that time, hen house was having a chinet sale. So I signed up for club chinet to get some coupons. Club chinet is web site promoting chinet products that requires registration. Well, anyway…..today they sent me an email and it had a dollar coupon and an easter egg hunt for a 55 cent coupon on chinet colors. You have to read clues and go through the web site to get the coupon. It has some information about napkin folding thats pretty cool. Also, it looks like that 30 cent haribo little bears coupon is back. I love those little chewy bears and they are cheap candy. It looks like its been reset on coupons.com. I like living in KC because it has a nice transportation system, as in surface roads. The 435 loop is pretty easy to get around. It looks like Kansas City believes in urban planning from the appearance of the map. Also our airport is nice and neat. They keep working on the airport and making it easier, but its a good small size so you don’t get lost.

    There are so many reasons to ♥ KC: the Royals, the zoo, the Plaza, Crown Center, the great new downtown, Deanna Rose…. =)

    I like KC for all of our live theaters. I like the Coterie and the KC Reps two stages. We have a great arts community.

    I love KC b/c its got everything you need at your fingertips, but without the Chicago or NY big city feel to it. Great place to raise a family!

    I love the variety you can find in a big city. Always something to do … always something new. The available places to go and things to do is something you can find in small town Iowa!

    I love Kansas City because it’s home sweet home. I love that I can live in one part of the city and never have to go to another if I don’t have to!
