Today is the last day in our Couponing For Community food drive!
If you haven’t already donated, remember that you can leave your non-perishables and non-glass items next to your mailbox and your local Postman will pick them up and get the to a local food bank.
I always think pictures tell a thousand words. So here are some pictures from the awesome Kansas City Mamas readers and their donations.
Our first picture comes from Robin Cox Wilson. (She’s a regular donation queen – but she found 16 items including some Similac. Love it.)
Next is a picture from Shanna Parker Gardner. (36 items including cleaning and health and beauty items – which food banks are in dire need.)
Next is a picture from Becky Campbell Collins. (56 items including some awesome organic items like Kashi and Seventh Generation Dish Liquid.)
And finally my donation of 30 items. There is a family in our school who is having financial difficulty, so every month I take a box of stuff to her house.
Isn’t it great to be a couponer?
If you haven’t yet, please be sure to add your total donation to the Couponing For Community item tracker. It’s amazing to see how much is donated across the country.
Love this! Way to go, KC Mamas readers!
Way to go!!!
I didn’t realize the pictures were for Stamp out Hunger, or I would’ve participated. I left 8 bags full of goodies out today, including 40 boxes of GM cereals. 🙂
I am proud of these Kansas City families for SHARING during other people’s hardship’s.
I have couponed for over 30 yrs and started to watch Extreme Couponing on TLC. In the past week’s I have started to get upset with “hoarder’s” (people to clear the shelves)!!!
Keep couponing, donating and loving those around us in this wonderful town of Kansas City. Bless YOU! 🙂
Very nice, ladies! Way to go!!
Our postal carrier didn’t advertise, but found out this past weekend was Stamp Out Hunger week, so left out a big box anyway. It disappeared… so hopefully that is who it went to!!!
