I know it seems like the holidays and Christmas are a long way away.
But today, it was announced that there would be a 2011 Walmart Christmas Layaway Program.
Layaway is a great way to pay off your purchases a little at a time and avoid any credit card debt for the holidays.

Must place 10% down payment. Good on furniture only. $5.00 service fee.
- $5.00 Service Fee for 8-week layaway. Four payments. Down payment: $20 or 20% whichever is greater and a $15 cancellation fee
- $10.00 Service Fee for 12-week layaway. Six payments. Down payment: $35 or 20% whichever is greater and a $25 cancellation fee
- $5.00 Service Fee for 8-week layaway. Four payments. Down payment: $20 or 20% whichever is greater and a $15 cancellation fee
- $10.00 Service Fee for 12-week layaway. Six payments. Down payment: $35 or 20% whichever is greater and a $25 cancellation fee
30 days to pay. 10% down payment. And jewelry is excluded. Not all T.J. Maxx stores offer layaway.
A down payment for at least 20% of the total price of your order plus all applicable taxes. $10 service fee. 50% of the total price of your order must be paid within 45 days and your order must be paid in full within three (3) months or ninety (90) days or by the “Holiday Cutoff” whichever is sooner.
Layaway begins on 10/17/11 and requires a 10% deposit based on merchandise total. $5 service charge. Layaway must be claimed by 12/16/11. Layaway not picked up will be canceled and payment returned less $10 cancellation fee and $5 service charge.
