Amazon has just announced that they are reducing the cost on the Kindle Fire HD models. Depending on the unit – it can be anywhere between $30 and $100 dollars.
Here is the new pricing:
- Kindle Fire HD 8.9″, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 16 GB – Includes Special Offers – $269 ($30 savings)
- Kindle Fire HD 8.9″, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 32 GB – Includes Special Offers – $299 ($70 savings)
- Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ 4G LTE Wireless, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 32 GB – Includes Special Offers – $399 ($100 savings)
- Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ 4G LTE Wireless, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 64 GB – Includes Special Offers – $499 ($100 savings)
I couldn’t tell if this is long-term or a short-term price break.
And just remember that the new Kindle Fires come with an introductory subscription to Kindle Free Time.
And it is just in time for Spring Break. (Because if you aren’t going anywhere…shouldn’t you be able to read in style?)
