I love scarves.
I’m kind of obsessed. In fact, you are pretty much guaranteed to see me bundled up in several different scarves all winter long. But when the weather starts to turn warm, I tend to not wear scarves as much. It just seemed like TOO MUCH..until now!
This post from Our Southern Home changed the way I thought about scarf-wearing forever! You can change a scarf into a vest. Seriously genius! What a great way to continue wearing scarves in spring and summer–like over a cute t-shirt, tank top or sun dress.
And HONESTLY, it takes exactly ONE MINUTE to do. Yep, one minute. Go ahead and time yourself…I’ll still be here. What a great way to add to your spring/summer accessories, right? Especially when scarves are on clearance sale right now everywhere!
This is such a simple, easy and inexpensive way to continue my scarf obsession (and possibly yours) all year-long!
How To Turn A Scarf Into A Vest In One Minute
What you will need:
- 1 large oblong scarf (also known as a big rectangle)
Instructions:
1. Lay your scarf out. Fold in half.
2. Tie the two top corners together into a small knot.
3. Open up the scarf to reveal the arm holes of your vest. Slide both arms through the holes and admire your adorable vest!!
