Happy New Year!
I love the New Year. I love thinking about what will happen in the upcoming year.
I love looking back on the challenges and successes of the previous year.
And I love taking out all the expired coupons from my binder and imagining what killer coupons will appear in 2011. (Yes, I’m a weirdo.)
But more than that, I like making adjustments to previous goals and setting up new ones – both personal and blog related. And since so many of you are along for the ride on Kansas City Mamas – I thought I would share those goals with all of you.
1. I took the input you gave in the August survey to heart and I will be writing more in 2011. Expect regular posts on past subjects like Grocery Cart Confessionals, Get Organized, and Thirsty Thursday (yep, wine reviews are coming back), as well as some new topics like decorating.
2. In 2011, I’m going to start vlogging more. That means I’ll be doing short little videos on various topics. You might see me in a store, my kitchen or my stockpile – but I’m hoping all will be entertaining and educational at the same time.
3. Coupon Classes. You’ve asked – so I’m working hard to hold a couple of ad-hoc coupon classes in 2011. More details will be coming.
4. Working with different bloggers. I like collaborating. So this year you will see me partner with different bloggers from across the blogosphere on either writing projects, awareness projects, or giveaways.
And my personal goals.
Well starting January 4th, I’ll be writing about budgets and talking about my own personal goals in the series – Renew for You, Building a Better Budget.
I’m also blessed to be working with four other bloggers who will be tackling and talking about other Renew for You topics – like weight loss, organization, making time for mom, and accepting you for you.
If you get a chance, check out their sites.

Like many, my new years resolution is to get in shape and lose weight. Can’t wait to hear some of the weight loss topics. I also want to do some cleaner eating in 2011. Happy New Year!
