Jasmere is another Deal of the Day website that I (personally) just found out about. For some of you, you’ve probably known about them for a long time. (Again, why I think at times I live under a rock.)
There are a couple of things that make Jasmere different.
First, the price isn’t fixed. In fact, it goes down as more people buy into the program. A $10 price at 8 am may turn into a $5 price by midnight. And the good news is everyone gets the lowest price – regardless of when they bought.
Second, they work with many independent and fair-trade companies. While I am not 100% fair-trade in my own shopping habits, I like the idea of being able to help a woman in Africa or Costa Rica afford to feed her family because I purchased a set of bamboo skewers.
And as a way of saying “thank you” and “let’s get to know you”, Jasmere is offering a $5 credit to your account when you complete a survey. You can bank the credit and use it when you see an item you really want – which is kind of nice.

2. Complete this survey.
3. Wait for the $5 to be posted to your account.
Survey is open till 10/18 and code must be used by 10/31.
Where do we input the code? Is it just when we spend it or is it somewhere on the site? I’m excited about this!
Just when you spend it – it should have a credit in your account and the next time you make a purchase it will use it.
Hmmm… I accidentally did the survey before signing up, so it’s not showing up in my account. Hopefully it will still be good if I try to use it when I make a purchase.
