If you missed Part One of my Top 10 Items From BlogHer, check it out.
So, today my list focuses on the kitchen and home design.
4. Starbucks Verismo.
During our annual 4th of July picnic, my girlfriends and I were discussing our vices. You know those things you just can’t live without. (For some reason I had more than everyone else…but I digress.)
Anyway, my dear friend admitted (out in the open) her daily addiction to Starbucks. She lamented that she KNEW she needed to make coffee at home, but nothing, nothing, nothing compared to her experience at Starbucks.
Until now. Enter the Starbucks Verismo System.
It is Starbucks answer to the Keurig System. There are pods you use to make a cup of coffee, espresso, or latte. (Yes, a pod for a latte.) I was able to sample all three coffees from the new Verismo System and they taste exactly like Starbucks. EXACTLY.
I’ll warn you – the system is pricey…$199 for the small and $399 for the large. But if you have a daily Starbucks habit, this will pay for itself in no time.

5. Energizer Flameless Candles
I’ve been wanting to invest in flameless candle for awhile.
But two things always stop me – the price and the fact they don’t look or smell like a flaming candle.
So when I found the Energizer Flameless Wax Candles on the Expo Floor, I was intrigued.
These real wax (with a melted edge) smelly candles are priced starting at under $14.00 each. Even better – their flicker is realistic and they come with a 4, 6, or 8 hour timer.
A holiday line is coming in time for 2012 with embossed snowflake and floral designs, along with red glitter, white glitter and silver metallic pillars, which will be perfect for a mantel addition or a holiday windowsills.
And better yet – you know there will be a coupon for these.
6. Red Rose Cinnamon Streusel Tea
I’m a tea and coffee snob.
I admit it.
I have a cup of decaf or herbal tea most nights. Usually from my loose leaf tea and tea pot. But it is messy. And there are times I really wish I could have a good cup of tea from a bag.
I picked up Red Rose Cinnamon Streusel Tea on a whim at the Dessert After Dark Party I attended. I thought I would give it a go when I got home and if was “bad” I would toss it.
But it wasn’t bad.
It was so far from bad. It was amazing.
So amazing that I will not share any tea bags out of the precious box with any family member.
It is some of the most flavorful and smooth tea I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. In fact, I’d put it in the category of Teavana. Only it comes in a bag! (Insert fist pump.) And they are adding Kansas stores all of the time, so I’ll be able to buy it the grocery store.
Stay tuned. Because next time I’ll tell you about my favorite fashion and beauty items from BlogHer.
