Here’s an update on the refrigerator for sale at Hy-Vee (see previous post). The cost of the refrigerator is $149.99. The coupon value received when purchasing the refrigerator is valued at $160. The coupons include both brand name products and Hy-Vee brand products. After looking at a sampling of the coupons today I would classify most of them as “staple” products. The coupons are for FREE items, not BOGO, and include some Redbox rental coupons. If you go to customer service, you can ask to see the coupon book before you buy. The only “catch” I found is that the coupons expire August 11, 2009 so you would need to use your coupons right away.
