Salad season is here!
(And after that comes swimming suit season, but we’ll pretend that is a long away for now.)
For the longest time, I only used store bought dressings on my salad.
Homemade salad dressings looked hard to make with too many ingredients that I DID NOT have on hand. Then I came across these simple fruity vinaigrette salad dressing recipes and my life was changed.
Plus, adding fruit to a salad is a great way to get extra fiber, without a ton of calories. And who wants to put RANCH on a bunch of ripe strawberries?
These dressings are super easy to make, super flavorful, with ingredients you have on hand. And in many cases VERY LOW IN CALORIES. And did I mention LIGHT YEAR’S BETTER than anything store bought.
(There is a reason restaurants have a house dressing, people. And it is time you had a house dressing of your own.)
