So, last night was the Emmy’s.
Mad Men won. Again.
But, it won’t win next year.
Why?
Because it is off the air until sometime in 2012.
And for the girl that has watched Mad Men since the very first episode and can tell you the moment that Don and Peggy would be connected some way for the rest of their lives, or when Roger had his first heart attack, or when Joan’s heart broke because Roger married someone else – waiting an entire year for a new episode is PAINFUL.
It is $7.99 per month.
It has all four seasons on Mad Men on instant streaming. (To my TV, my computer, my iPhone, my Wii.)
No longer will I need to go through Draper withdrawl. I can start at the beginning (which I have) and watch the character development start to unfold.
Or you can be like the rest of my family and enjoy the last two seasons of Swamp People (seriously – who comes up with this stuff?)
And even though I’m not a Swamp People fan – I am a fan of the no commercials during the shows. No commercials means I’m able to control the “gimmees” in my house and helps my children focus on what they really want – not what they saw on television.
But even if you aren’t a Swamp People or Mad Men fan – I can say without a waiver in my voice – the $7.99 we spend per month for Netflix is the best money we spend. Period.
Do you have Netflix? If not, sign up for the FREE one-month trial and see what you think. You may decide that you don’t need cable television again.

We’ve had netflix for about a year and a half… We LOVE IT!! I agree with you Kelly. It really is the best $7.99 you can spend a month. With 1 teenager in the house and 1 not living with us, they both can have access to netflix wherever they are!!

Do it through Swagbucks!! They usually have a huge bonus if you sign up through them (that was my first Swag test, got an Amazon gift card right off the bat).
