If you are looking to score a bargain on winter apparel (coats, sweaters, boots), this is the weekend to break out the credit card and do a little shopping.
Through Monday, most retailers will be having some sort of extra discount/sale on their current inventory as they make way for new Spring Items.

Athleta
I’m a sucker for new athleisure. Also, I’ve found that as I have gotten older (and my body a bit softer) that cheap workout clothes don’t cut it (especially pants and tights). Plus, I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE Athleta.

Before you roll your eyes…Forever 21 has changed over the eighteen months to include WAY MORE normal (aka…not clubbing clothes) that are appropriate for people over the age of 26.
For example, I think a moto jacket looks amazing on anyone (in fact, it made my list of Fall Trends 40 Year Olds Should Wear) and considering it is only $19.59 after discount (reg. $39.80) the price is right too.
But considering the threshold for FREE shipping is only $30, it will be easy to find a few inexpensive items to spice up your wardrobe.

JCPenney
I do quite a bit of shopping at JCP over the weekend because they have their HUGE CLEARANCE sale + an additional 15 – 25% off your purchase. Also, if you purchase $25 or more, you can ship to the store and avoid any shipping charges.
We’ve had REALLY GOOD LUCK with the Total Girl Brand and Arizona Brand for my daughter (who is 10). She wants cute, comfortable clothes. I want clothes that cover her butt and are age appropriate.
For example, this Total Girl Drop Shoulder Sweater is only $9.94 after discount. We have a grey one with a dog in a mustache and it is one of her favorites.

SOREL
I’m such a SOREL fan. Outside of my FRYE boots, there is no other boot I’d rather wear, especially in the winter. They are comfortable, warm and waterproof.
This weekend, my favorite boot, the SOREL Toronto is on sale for $119.90 (reg. $180). This is my second season with this boot and I’m still in love. I wore it when I walked all around Chicago and my feet never hurt once. And they go with everything….leggins, jeans, skirts, dresses…..everything.
