I love this outfit because it focuses on all the right things and negates the “less than right” things.
First, this dress can either be an empire waste or a maxi-dress. You decide. You just move the waist up or down.Thinest part of you under your bra – call it empire. Your natural waste line still small – call it a maxi dress. Either way…it camouflages parts we don’t like.
Second, GOLD is in. Gold jewelry. Gold sandals. Gold coins. (Ok, maybe not that much.) And no matter your natural coloring…everyone looks good in gold. (Plus, it is a natural accompaniment to the purple.)
Finally, from a makeup perspective every looks better with 1) Spray Tan, 2) Bronzer, and 3) Gold Eyeshadow.
The Sally Hansen Airbrush Tan is like lightning in a bottle. In fact, you may never tan again.
And I’m a huge fan of Physicians’ Formula Bronzers. They give the right amount of shimmer without looking too Las Vegas Showgirl.
And the Maybelline 24-Hour Tatoo Eyeshadow is a recent new find. Let me just say this, once you try it, you may become addicted, but a LITTLE goes a long way. Remember the look is golden, not Fort Knox.
