Spring Break Giveaway #3: Pair of Tickets to Hen House Holiday Celebration

In some ways the Hen House Holiday Celebration is better than Spring Break.

So call it Fall Break – because the Hen House Holiday Celebration will be held on October 28 – 30, 2011 at the Overland Park Convention Center.

I’m giving away a two tickets to the celebration.

Here’s How To Enter The Giveaway

1. Leave a comment about your favorite local food celebrity or critic. (Ex. Walt Bodine from NPR – ’cause my husband believes all their food reviews.)

2. Become in “Like” with Kansas City Mamas on Facebook. Once you are in “Like” or if you are already in “Like” – leave another comment.

3. Sign up for Kansas City Mamas Daily Email Newsletter. Once you sign up or if you are already signed – leave another comment.

    Jasper Mirable is my favorite! I’ve taken several of his classes and they are always so much fun AND I learn so much!

    Favorite local food celebrity? I’d say Jasper Mirable. Love his radio show and he’s such a sweet guy. And his lobster cappuccino? Absolute heaven on earth!

    Food critics don’t usually review places I can take 3 kids under 4 :). We stick to what we know.

    I love listening to the food reviewers on NPR as well. I even called in once when they were talking about how no restaurants make their own root beer anymore. Because I know of one that still does.

    Hmmm…this is difficult. I guess I would say I love the advice from all the awesome employees at Whole Foods. Always willing to help you pair up X with Y and help steer you toward great food or products.

    I’m in “like” and I LOVED the Holiday Celebration last year. Some friends and I are thinking of getting some rooms at the hotel and having a girl’s night followed by the celebration the next day!

    I have never been to a Hen House Holiday Celebration , I have always wanted to go.. I’m a busy mom of three and every time the Hen House event comes around, something comes up ….. I’ve heard some great things about it , and this year Rachel Ray* OMG I hope this year i get the chance to go! I am subscribed to your emails and “Like” you on Face Book!!!! 🙂

    My favorite local is Chef Colby Garrelts of Bluestem who is nominated right now for Best Chef Midwest by the James beard foundation. My brother-in-law works for him, they serve the most amazing food!!
