As I was scrolling through my news feed this morning, I noticed that the NEW Harry Potter Book was available for pre-order.
WHAT?!?!
When did the announcement come that there was a NEW Harry Potter Book? I thought JK was done. Harry married Ginny. Ron married Hermione. They all had kids and lived happily ever after.
BUT, I guess not.

Can I just tell you HOW EXCITED I am about this? Hubs read the series to my son (age 12) and I’m in the middle of reading the series to my daughter (age 10)…and then after we get done with the book, we watch the movie (because OF COURSE we have those on DVD/Blu-ray).
It’s so cool that we get to experience the next generation (even if the title is the “cursed child”…poor kid).

This is so exciting!! I hadn’t heard about the new book yet, I must be living under a rock too! My 10 yr old son LOVES HP!! I can’t wait to order it and tell him about it. Yea! Thanks for sharing 🙂
YEAH!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one living under the rock…we should meet for drinks sometime, LOL.
I’m not certain, but I think I read somewhere that she didn’t actually write it. She is serving as a consultant to the screenplay which is being turned into the book. Again, not sure!
It isn’t a book like the originals. It is the stage production in book form. Still very cool & I can’t wait to get it. JK has said it isn’t a sequel exactly.
I hope it is as good as the originals…that would make me giddy. And yes, I’m buying it too.
