One of the best getaways for families in the Midwest is Omaha, Nebraska. Hands down.

This town has it all. It is SO easy to get to from Kansas City (about 3 hours up I-29), the town is easy to get around, and there are tons of things to do. My family went to Omaha last year for Spring Break and had a blast. See what we did HERE.

    I love Omaha! One of my babies was born there. I would love to go back and visit the botanical gardens, and the train museum!

    I’d love to go back to the Henry Doorly zoo. I was there 8 years ago and it was awesome but I know it’s had a lot of changes and now it’s even better. Would love to go back to see it.

    I’d love to go back to the Zoo. We went there last year over spring break but it was snowing, so we didn’t get to see all the exhibits as we were just too darn cold!

    I love the Zoo!! I had heard the San Diego Zoo was great also, it’s nothing compared to Omaha Zoo, in my opinion!!

    We stayed at a Best Western in Omaha, it was awesome, it had a little indoor waterpark for the kids, even had a slide!
