So, DH and I have been going through a “purging” phase. It is safe to say that after having two kids and two careers we have a BUNCH of stuff. And I have always been of the opinion that once our “stuff” exceeds the storage capacities in our house, it is time to get rid of some it. So we have been purging – giving away, selling on ebay, selling on Craigslist, whatever it takes. About a month ago, I read an article about a site that bought used books called Cash4Books. And since our office bookshelf had exceeded capacity, I decided it was time to see if any of those books were worth anything.
I loaded up the Cash4Books website, typed in the book’s ISBN code, and instantly it told me if the book was worth something. Well, surprise, surprise…we had several books that were not only worth something, but were worth ALOT. (Way better than garage sale prices.) It was super easy – and once I found 5 books to sell the shipping was FREE.
Now, I’m not rich because I sold 10 books, but we did make $20 for stuff that was gathering dust on the bookshelf. The process was super easy and we got paid really fast (you can choose check or PayPal). So if you are looking to “purge” a little and make some $$$ while you are doing it – check out Cash4Books (or click on the link above).
Have you ever sold with Cash4Books? How did it go?
