The purpose of What’s For Dinner? is to provide you a recipe with items on sale this week, with no more than 10 ingredients (not including pantry items), and coming in at under $10 per meal.
In one of my coupon classes this week, we were discussing meal planning. I talked about not only KNOW THY FAMILY and their eating habits, but also KNOW THY COOKING STYLE. Your meal plan will be a recipe for disaster (no pun intended) if you don’t recognize your cooking style.
Examples…
Don’t pick Julia Child recipes that need to be started at 3:00 if you are a CONVENIENCE cook.
Don’t pick recipes in everything needs to be cooked all at once if you are a BIT-BY-BIT cook.
Don’t pick recipes that require all-day slow cooking if you are a EXPERIMENTAL cook.
So embrace your inner-cook, and pick recipes that fit with your personality, lifestyle and family.
Luckily, the recipe I’m going to share with you today crosses over many “kinds-of-cooks”. 🙂

1 T. Dijon mustard
1 clove of garlic, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
