Crispy Chicken Fingers

The purpose of What’s For Dinner? is to provide you a recipe with items on sale this week, with no more than 10 ingredients (not including pantry items), and coming in at under $10 per meal.

I love me some Kentucky Fried Chicken. The deep fried, the potatoes, the cole slaw, the biscuits.

However, ever since I went the official Kentucky Fried Chicken website and checked out nutritional information, I haven’t been back to a restaurant.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about a guilty pleasure. (I watch Desperate Housewives of {ENTER CITY NAME}.)

I’m just not going to jeopardize the 50 minutes on the treadmill for the sake of a secret-recipe piece of chicken.

But the craving still rears it’s ugly head every now and again – and this is my most healthy alternative to keep the beast at bay.

Note: 3/4 lb of chicken doesn’t go very far. Double to recipe for more “hungry eaters”. Also this chicken DOES NOT make good leftovers. Eat it hot and eat it now – with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and some biscuits.
