Top Spring Scarves and How To Wear Them

Top Spring Scarves

I must have a thousand scarves (yes, that’s an exaggeration; I have about thirty, which is still a lot.)  I have so many that I have a hard time keeping track of them; I don’t recommend this system, or lack of one.

  1. I have learned a few things from collecting scarves over the years.
  2. I prefer oblong scarves for versatility.
  3. I prefer neutral colors, and subdued tones (like navy, or soft, deep yellow.)
  4. Not all patterns were created equally.
  5. Cotton gauze is by far my favorite (and what my favorite Burberry scarf is made of.)

I’ve rounded up my top Spring scarves from the web, available this spring, in three different budget ranges.

  1. Target’s Mossimo stripe infinity scarf in knit jersey.  It’s a easy classic, pair it with t-shirts, prints and patterns.
  2. Lauren by Ralph Lauren tie-dye scarf in a cotton/linen blend.  Casual and interesting, paired with dresses or t-shirts.
  3. If you are the type to save money and buy one really great thing, and only have to buy it once, this is it.  I can’t say it enough.  Buy. this. scarf.  You will love it, season after season, and wear it with just about everything in your closet.  I’ve wasted plenty of money on my thirty+ scarves and do you know which one gets used 99% of the time?  This Burberry (well, not this exact one.)
