Summer is right around the corner.

I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Rubbermaid containers for refrigerator storage and organization.

But, I have been hesitant to use them exclusively because I really enjoy the 360 degree clarity and non BPA materials that glass provides. - Air-tight marinades. We grill a TON in the summer. And I’m usually using some sort of marinade on the meat. I had been shying away from using my traditional glass storage containers for marinading because they weren’t air-tight and that led to dry meat on the grill and spills in the fridge. With the new Rubbermaid Brilliance Containers, I’m able to toss the meat and marinade in one. Lock it down. Shake it as necessary to coat the meat. And then go from fridge to grill with ease.
- Salad for days. I love salad kits from Costco. (Yes, yummy Kale salad, I’m talking to you.) But, they are HUGE. And there is no way I can eat a whole bag in one setting. So, I have leftovers. But that becomes problematic because air is the devil when it comes to lettuce. It makes it wilted and brown and yucky. These Rubbermaid Brilliance Containers keep salad fresh for DAYS allowing me to buy the HUGE Costco bag of salad and eat it through out the week. (This is also great for melon, berries, citrus and more.) Plus, because they have different sizes, you can make your healthy meals in advance for grab-and-go eating.
- Individual sized containers for kid meals. My kids eat me out of house and home during the summer. And if left to their own devices, they will eat junk food all day long because they are teenagers and are lazy. (Can I get an amen?) I create individual meals inside these containers which they can warm up in the microwave when “hunger strikes”. Splatter-proof containers. Less junk food. Cheaper meals. Win for Mom.
