I love Fridays.
I love that a week is over.
I love that the weekend is about to begin.
But, I despise cooking.
Can anyone relate?
And last Friday, when I had NO desire to cook, I was lucky enough to experience Papa Murphy’s for the first time. (I’m sure there is a gasp from some of you, but yes, I never had Papa Murphy’s before…and now I’m following Papa Murphy’s on Facebook.)
I knew about their whole take-and-bake philosophy. And while it peaked my interests, I had a hard time believing a take-and-bake pizza would be better than the frozen alternative.
And, I am a pizza snob.
(Did I mention I have a stone pizza oven in my backyard?)
But, I was wrong.
My whole family was SURPRISED and DELIGHTED at the overall quality, taste, and affordability of the pizzas.
The kiddos each got a Mini Murphs. It was cool to watch them make their own pizza – which they loved.
And hubs and I got to experience the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza. (For those of you who are Nebraska Natives – it rivals my favorite Cheeseburger Pizza from Valentino’s.)
Ingredients on the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza include 100% real mozzarella cheese, ground beef, crispy bacon, fresh onions, Roma tomatoes, dill pickles chips, and a yummy sauce that I think is a combination of ketchup, mustard, and mayo.
