There is nothing worse than planning on making something for dinner, like tacos with fresh guacamole, and going to get your avocados off your counter only to find that they are mushy, brown and overly-ripe.
Dinner is ruined. Who can have tacos without fresh guacamole?!
This happens to me way too often. To help myself and the rest of you, I decided to make a Quick Guide to Storing Fruits and Vegetables Free Printable.
At a glance, you will now know to store your unripened avocados on the counter and then move them to the refrigerator when they have ripened. Taco night is saved and all your fruits and veggies from the farmer’s market will be eaten instead of thrown out because you know the proper way to store them!
PS: I might have just blown your world that tomatoes should always be stored on the counter.
