Places to Take Halloween Candy in Kansas City
Halloween is right around the corner and that means a LARGE bag will make it’s way into your house on October 31st (if not before). While I love Halloween and Trick or Treating, October marks the beginning of the CANDY FEAST (as I like to call it) that continues until Easter. (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter)
If you are in the same boat, here is a list of places to take halloween candy to in Kansas City.
1. Find a local dentist who participates in aHalloween Candy Buy Back Program because they will give you something in exchange for the candy and also ship it off to the troops for you.
2. Ship your candy off to the troops. They love having the extra candy and you will be serving our country and teaching your kids about the military all at the same time.
3. Allow them to eat until they are sick and then trade the rest for a small trip to Target or Toys R Us. You’d be surprised how far $5.00 will go to getting it out of your house.
4. Leave the bulk of the candy out on the front porch for the mysterious “Halloween Witch” who will miraculously leave a non-candy surprise (like a game or a toy) in its place.
Use all four of these or a combination and help stop the CANDY FEAST early this year.
