Must Have Beauty Tools That Are Under $5.00

Must Have Beauty Tools | RedefinedMom.com

It takes work to look your best. In fact, it takes work and the right tools to look your best.

But finding the right beauty tools can be challenge in its own right, let alone find them for a good price.

No worries here is a list of eight must have inexpensive beauty tools under $5.00 that every girl needs.

Must Have Inexpensive Beauty Tools Under $5.00

1. Magnifying Mirror.
As we get older, we can’t see as well. We also get more hairy. (I’m not pulling any punches, am I?) So every girl needs to have a magnifying mirror to make sure she doesn’t have any “stray” hairs in unflattering places that sometimes can’t be seen in a regular mirror. Just don’t look at your “eye’s reflection” in the mirror, you’ll start stressing about wrinkles.

2. Blackhead/Pimple Extractor.
I don’t know how I survived my teens without this little bit of amazingness! I am a “pick-at-my-face” girl and as a result, I end up doing more damage than good when I try to extract a blackhead (even if I did pop that stubborn zit). This tool allows you to extract the head of most pimples and blackheads without the damage.

3. Eyelash Curler.
Nothing will make you look more awake (besides 10 hours or sleep) than curling your eyelashes. I have no idea why. Maybe the shock of the eyelash curling widens your eyes. I don’t know…but it works. Everytime. Plus, it makes it easier to put on mascara. Truth.

4. Blush Brush.
If you putting on your blush with one of those it-comes-with-the blush-POS-brushes…go throw it away right now. (Seriously, NOW. I’ll wait till you get back.) Why did I just make you throw it away? Because it’s so damn hard to apply blush with those brushes that you end up using way too much blush and end up looking a little drag-queenish. (Again, I’m telling like it is.)  A fluffy blush is the best way to apply your blush so you look healthy and sun-kissed.

5. Eyeshadow Brush.
See above. Only with your eyes. Using one of those crummy spongy applicators means you aren’t creating a natural blended look, but a hard-pressed, rubbed in, crazy mess with no definition. Eyes are tender too…too much rubbing side to side with those applicators means more saggy lids later on in life.

6. Q-Tips.
This made the list because, honestly, makeup is messy. You sneeze when put your mascara on…or you get a little crazy with eyeliner…or lipliner. You get the picture.

7. Spring Hair Removal Tool.
It’s the god-honest truth that when we reach a certain age we start to lose the hair on our head and gain it other places. Usually our faces. Around our mouths and chin to be specific. If you have weird hairs on your face, there is no amount of makeup or facial care that will make those less attractive. They just need to be gone. And this little tool is a wonder at doing it without severe pain.

8. Foundation Brush.
Similar reasons as the blush and eyeshadow brushes. However, this brush will actually make you use less of your precious foundation because it is able to spread it out so evenly vs your fingers or sponge. Foundation brushes are also awesome for applying concealer under your eyes and over any blemishes.
