Mid-Week Shopping: Target Deals

I was able to get out of the house with just DS yesterday afternoon and go to Target.

Before I go any farther, I must confess that I was giddy about making this trip. The deals at Target were amazing and they were for things that are either on our “want” list or “need for school lunch” list.

I wasn’t sure what the stock would look like – I was a little fearful everything would have been picked over. But as soon as DS and I started shopping, there were only two items on our list that were out-of-stock. Neither of them were deal breakers – so even without them – I considered it a VERY successful trip.

Pictured: Green Works Laundry Detergent, Green Works Toliet Bowl Cleaner, (4) Bags of Snyder’s Pretzels, (4) Juicy Juice Drink Boxes, (4) Cans of Chef Boyardee – to be donated, Welch’s Fruit Snacks, (4) SoBe Lifewaters, (2) Dannon Light & Fit Yogurts, (2) Bear Naked Granola, LaCroix Sparkling Water, Ziploc Bags, (4) Bagel Bites and (2) Nature Valley Granola Bars.

Total: $17.20 (according to the receipt – I saved $61.64)

The highlights of the trip were using 47 coupons. Yep – 47. I apologized profusely to the people behind me – but luckily they were coupon users too and were happy to watch my total go down.

I was also ecstatic to finally find the Green Works Detergent. It was $3.99 after coupons and I had another coupon from the fliers at Hen House/Price Chopper for a FREE Green Works cleaning when you buy Green Works Detergent. Other FREE items included the Bear Naked Granola  after Buy One, Get One Coupon and FREE when you buy two Dannon yogurts, Chef Boyardee after Target Printable Coupon, and the SoBe Lifewaters after Buy One, Get One Coupon and Target Printable Coupons.

We’ve had some comments under the Target Deals post about great trips this week and I’ll love to hear yours – How did you do at Target?
