Giveaway: Pillsbury Pie Crust Prize Pack

I get a lot of magazines.

Let me rephrase that…I get TOO many magazines.

So the other day, I was trying to cut down on the growing pile of magazines, and I was reading Taste of Home. (Which by the way, is the best down-home cooking magazine EVER.) I started reading on an article about making pies and soon became *shocked-and-awed* because a known pie-maker admitted to using Pillsbury Pie Crust.

What?!?

You mean I could skip the dreaded crust-making step. I could eliminate the flour/water/crisco mixture stress and just focus on to the good stuff…the fruit filling. I was intrigued to say the least.

But I had to judge for myself – so I purchased some Pillsbury Pie Crust and gave it a whirl. And you know what? No one knew any different.

With that being said, I will probably still attack a pie crust every now and again in my effort to master the skill. But for a low-stress/high-quality pie crust – my heart now belongs to that good-lookin’ dough boy.

So, the good people of Pillsbury, along with the MyBlogSpark have generously given me a Pillsbury Pie Crust Prize Pack (which includes a coupon good for a FREE Pillsbury Pie Crust, Apple Cutting Board and Timer, Pyrex Pie Plate, OXO Measuring Spoons and Apple Cutter, and a Pillsbury Hot Pad) to giveaway to a lucky reader.

Giveaway Entry Guidelines – remember to leave a separate comment for each entry

1. Leave a comment letting me know your favorite kind of pie.

2. Become in “Like” with Kansas City Mamas on Facebook. If you are already in like, just let me know.

3. Suggest Kansas City Mamas to your friends/family/high school acquaintances/stalkers on Facebook. Just click the tab under the profile picture.

That’s it. A winner will be chosen at random at end-of-day on Friday, October 15. Good Luck.

PS: Pillsbury provided me with the products, information, and giveaway through MyBlogSpark. I received a prize pack exactly like the one I’m giving away. However, the opinions about Pillsbury were formed before I got my prize pack and the lack of pie-crust-making skill are all my own.
