The EWG has released the new 2015 Clean and Dirty Fruits and Vegetables List.

Produce is expensive. Regardless if it is organic or not. So why not spend where you need to and save where you can? If you can’t afford to buy 100% organic, you can download this Pesticides in Produce Clean Dirty List to see which “dirty” produce you should try to buy organically at the minimum.

The produce items on the “Dirty List” tend to have the highest level of pesticide residue (regardless of the produce being washed or peeled). In a nutshell, these items are the ones you should focus on buying “organic”.

The items on the Clean list have the least amount of pesticide residue, and while you can choose to purchase organic, it is considered safe to buy conventional.
