Simple Sesame Noodles

The purpose of What’s For Dinner? is to provide you a recipe with items on sale this week, with no more than 10 ingredients (not including pantry items), and coming in at under $10 per meal.

Hubs has an addiction to cooking Chinese/Thai food.

And most of the time it tastes like Midwestern Ethnic Food…edible, but not something  you wanted an additional helping of…if you know what I mean

To be honest, there are only two recipes (out of the 100 he has tried) that rate for me – Crockpot Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken.

So when Hubs offered to make Sesame Noodles, I responded with.. “Sure, baby.”

But what I was thinking was…”For the love of Cashew Chicken, GIVE IT UP and let’s go to Pei Wei.”

But as he has done over the 14 years of marriage – he surprised me and it is now one of my favorite go-to meals. Hope you enjoy it too.

Note: Feel free to add your favorite veggies – snow peas, carrots, broccoli, etc.

What about you? Is there a kind of food you just won’t make? Share it with us via the comments or on the Kansas City Mamas Facebook Page.
