So on Sunday, I noticed a one-page ad in the KC Star for the new Hen House Culinary Club & Points Program. But the details were a little slim.

Then I noticed it again in this week’s sale circular. So I decided to do some digging and here are the details for the program.

Hen House Culinary Club & Points Program

  • From September 2 to December 22, 2012, you will earn (1) Culinary Club Point for every $10 (in one transaction) you spend at Hen House after discounts and coupons.
  • You can then turn those points in for Thomas Professional Kitchen Knives. (FYI – they are REALLY nice and REALLY expensive – as seen here.)
  • There is no limit to the number of knives you can collect with your points.
  • Fine Print: Offer excludes the purchase of Rx prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco, postage stamps, lottery tickets, wire transfer services, all gift cards, bill pay service, or products and services provided as a convenience for our customers.

The lowest point knife is the Small Santoku or Utility Knife Knife for 25 points. (Or the equivelent of $250.00 spent at Hen House before the holidays.)

I’ll be honest – I’m lusting over the Cook’s Knife. Hopefully my $$$ will add up to the knife before the end of the program. :)
