Which Hy-vee do you shop at that will let you get the juice for free with the $2 coupon? The 135th store in Olathe would not let me use it since it was over the sale price.

I tried to use the Kraft Coupons at the 135th store in Olathe last night and they would not take them. Told me since they said publix on the coupon, they could not get money for them. I pointed out that they say manufacturer coupon on them and he would not budge. I bought the post cereal on my first transaction and then the juice and two more things on a second transaction, the juice coupon went just fine, it reduced down to the sale price, and I had the 4. catalina after the juice coupons, my total was 3.98 and the manager had to come over again! Ugh! He didn’t say a word and applied the coupon and I paid the remaing tax that was due.

Did anyone else have trouble with the Kraft catalina printing? I had to go to guest services and they hand-wrote me a $5 OYNO. I did use coupons on the Kraft items (the smartsource Ritz q and the previously available $1.25/3 jello q’s), so wasn’t sure if that somehow caused the cat not to print. Luckily Hyvee’s customer service is great so this wasn’t a hassle.

Valerie – I used the juice coupon and it automatically adjusts down to $1.77 when scanned, so it doesn’t end up being over the sale price.

I asked the cashier about adjusting it down and she said no, not sure she even tried to scan it- just saw $2/off and then the juice’s sale price. I’ll try again, it’s really hit or miss with cashiers at that particular store, but I love Hy-vee!

do you have to do seperate transactions for the Kraft deal… if say you spend $40 on Kraft products to get the $5 catalina?

  4. lisae says

Hi – just went to Hyvee and thought this might be a good honorable mention…I bought stove top stuffing (5 total) – on sale for .99 each (hyvee coupon in ad, used 4 ads total) and then used a manufacturer coupon – buy 4 get one free. At the check out I recieved a 1.50 catalina for my next order. I was happy…

I was at Hy-vee today in Dekalb, IL and I was told that the store will not be accepting coupons that are printed at home. I found it very odd since they have taken the coupons before.

Does WalMart carry the Old Orchard? It usually goes much better for me to PM there than use a coupon over the sale price at HV.

Couponnetwork is showing a $2.50 catalina wyb 9 cambell’s condensed soups. Anyone try this with the free turkey offer?

    • Melanie says

I saw that too and bought 10 “Great for Cooking” condensed- no Catalina. I’m wondering if it applies to the typical Tomato/ Chicken Noodle soups only.

      • FrugalEngineer says

The picture was chicken noodle etc type, but technically the cream of fill in the blank soup is condensed. Oh well, can’t make the catalina sing if it wasn’t programmed for that. Thanks for the report.

This is the first time I have read your blog. Thanks for sharing all the deals! The Kraft Special Promotion looks awesome! What does OYNO stand for? Can the $5 catalina be used on the next Kraft purchase without forfitting the next $5 catalina? (Similar to Walgreens)
